Frequently Asked Questions

Learn how LiveKlass works across learning, mentorship, professional identity, courses, payments, and upcoming work opportunities.

What is LiveKlass?

LiveKlass is a platform for professional growth. You can learn real-world skills through structured courses and roadmaps, find experienced mentors for guidance, and build a professional Identity that brings your experience, skills, projects, education, and credentials together in one shareable profile.

Who is LiveKlass for?

LiveKlass is for people who want to learn useful skills, get guidance from experienced professionals, and build a stronger professional presence. You can use the part of LiveKlass that is useful to you today and add more as your career develops.

Do I need to use every LiveKlass product?

No. Learn, Find a Mentor, and Identity can each be used independently. You might start with a course, find a mentor when you need guidance, or create your professional Identity first. The products are designed to work together, but you can use them according to your own needs.

How does learning on LiveKlass work?

LiveKlass Learn uses structured courses and skill roadmaps to help you understand what to learn, what comes next, and how individual topics connect. The goal is to help you build practical capability rather than simply complete isolated lessons.

What can I learn on LiveKlass?

LiveKlass is starting with software engineering. The first learning path focuses on backend development, beginning with Java and object-oriented programming and progressing through Spring Boot, APIs, databases, production engineering, distributed systems, reliability, and system design. More skills can be added as LiveKlass grows.

Do I need prior programming experience?

Not for the Java and OOP Foundation course. It is designed for beginners and people who are still building confidence with programming. More advanced courses assume that you understand the foundations covered earlier in the roadmap.

What language are the courses taught in?

Course language can vary by course. The initial backend developer roadmap is taught primarily in Bengali, while technical terms such as Java, API, database, queue, cache, and scaling are used in English where appropriate.

What lesson formats are available?

A lesson may include video, written Markdown content, or both. Depending on the course, written lessons may include explanations, code examples, exercises, references, implementation notes, and other material you can return to while practising.

Do the courses include practical work?

Where appropriate, yes. LiveKlass courses are designed to help you apply what you learn through exercises, projects, problem solving, and realistic engineering scenarios rather than relying on theory alone.

What is Find a Mentor?

Find a Mentor helps you discover experienced professionals who can offer focused guidance, feedback, tutoring, practice, or career support. Mentor availability, areas of expertise, pricing, and session details are shown on their profiles where available.

How do mentor sessions work?

When a mentor offers bookable sessions, you can review their mentoring topics, availability, session information, and price before booking. The exact format and availability depend on the mentor.

What is LiveKlass Identity?

LiveKlass Identity is your public professional profile. It can bring together your experience, skills, projects, education, credentials, languages, professional links, and other information you want to share with recruiters, clients, collaborators, or your professional network.

Can I share my LiveKlass Identity outside LiveKlass?

Yes. Your public Identity is designed to be shared openly through your LiveKlass profile link and, where supported, a QR code. It is intended to be a professional profile you can use beyond a single employer, marketplace, or social network.

What does identity verification mean?

Identity verification confirms that the person behind a LiveKlass profile has verified their identity. It does not automatically verify every employer, skill, degree, project, credential, or other claim shown on that profile unless it is separately verified.

What is LiveKlass Work?

LiveKlass Work is coming soon. It will help professionals discover work opportunities and connect with companies looking for talent across freelance projects, contract work, part-time engagements, and full-time roles.

Will I need a separate profile for LiveKlass Work?

The intention is for your LiveKlass Identity to remain your professional profile across the platform, so the experience, skills, projects, credentials, and other professional information you already maintain can support future opportunities without rebuilding everything from scratch.

How does course access work?

Some lessons may be available as free previews. Paid course content requires a LiveKlass account and an active enrollment in the relevant course.

How do payments work?

Available payment methods, prices, and any applicable charges are shown before you complete a purchase or booking. You can review the details before confirming payment.

Will I receive a certificate after completing a course?

Certificates may be available for selected learning experiences, but they are not the main purpose of LiveKlass Learn. The priority is helping you develop knowledge, practical capability, and work you can meaningfully carry into your professional journey.

Does LiveKlass guarantee that I will get a job?

No. LiveKlass does not guarantee employment. Learning, mentoring, professional profiles, and future work opportunities can help you prepare, present yourself, and connect with relevant people and companies, but hiring decisions remain with employers and clients.
