1. Agreement to these Terms
By creating an account, enrolling in a course, purchasing a product, or otherwise using LiveKlass, you agree to these Terms and the policies referenced in them.
If you do not agree, do not purchase a course or use restricted platform features. Mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law are not excluded or limited by these Terms.
2. The platform and learning products
LiveKlass provides structured learning roadmaps and educational content relating to programming, backend engineering, software architecture, career preparation, and related technical subjects.
A learning product may include video lessons, written Markdown lessons, combined video-and-text lessons, exercises, source-code examples, projects, downloads, or other formats described on the applicable product page.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate account and purchase information and must be legally capable of entering into the relevant contract. If you are under the age at which you can independently enter into a contract in your country, a parent or legal guardian must approve the purchase and use.
You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity conducted through your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
One account is intended for one learner unless a business, team, family, or institutional licence expressly states otherwise.
4. Orders, prices, and payment
Prices, currency, included taxes, payment methods, and any recurring or one-time nature of a charge will be shown before you place an order. You must review the order summary before confirming payment.
Payments may be processed by Stripe or another identified payment provider. Access is normally activated after successful payment confirmation, fraud screening, and any required account matching.
We may correct an obvious pricing or product-description error before accepting an order. If payment has already been taken for an order we cannot accept, the relevant amount will be reimbursed.
5. Digital-content supply and withdrawal
Self-paced digital courses are generally supplied by activating account access after payment. Where immediate supply begins during a statutory withdrawal period, checkout may ask you to expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge the legal consequences for your withdrawal right.
Your statutory withdrawal rights, remedies for non-conforming digital content, and any additional discretionary refund terms are explained in the Refund and Withdrawal Policy. That policy forms part of these Terms.
If a valid withdrawal or contract termination requires course access to end, you must stop accessing, using, copying, or sharing the affected content.
6. Personal course licence
When you lawfully obtain access, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to use the included course materials for your own learning.
Your purchase does not transfer ownership of videos, text, code examples, graphics, branding, assessments, downloads, or other LiveKlass materials.
You may use code examples in your own learning and projects unless a lesson, repository, or accompanying licence states different terms. You may not republish the course itself or present its lessons as your own training product.
7. Acceptable use
You must not share or sell account access; record, scrape, copy, download, or redistribute protected content except through an expressly provided feature; bypass access controls; interfere with platform security; upload malware; automate abusive requests; or use the service unlawfully.
You must not remove copyright or ownership notices, impersonate another person, submit fraudulent payment information, abuse refunds or chargebacks, or use course materials to infringe another person's rights.
Reasonable local notes, screenshots, and extracts for your private study are permitted where allowed by law and where they do not amount to redistribution of the course.
8. Learner submissions and projects
You retain ownership of original code, assignments, questions, feedback, and other material you submit, subject to any third-party rights and licences contained in that material.
You give us a limited licence to host, process, display, and review a submission only as needed to provide learning, feedback, support, moderation, assessment, security, or platform operation.
Do not submit confidential employer information, production credentials, personal data you are not authorized to share, or code that infringes another party's rights.
9. Progress, completion, and certificates
Progress indicators, completion percentages, exercise results, badges, and certificates depend on the tracking and assessment features available for the relevant course.
A certificate, where offered, confirms only the platform's recorded completion criteria. It is not an academic degree, professional licence, employment guarantee, or independent verification of every skill.
10. Course and platform updates
We may improve, correct, reorganize, replace, or retire lessons and platform features. Updates may be needed because technologies, security requirements, vendors, or industry practices change.
We will not intentionally remove the essential value of a paid product without an appropriate reason. Where a material adverse change affects mandatory consumer rights, the remedies required by applicable law remain available.
Scheduled maintenance, security incidents, internet failures, third-party outages, and other technical events may temporarily affect availability.
11. Third-party services and links
LiveKlass may rely on third-party services for authentication, payments, email, hosting, storage, analytics, video delivery, or other functionality. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply when you interact directly with them.
Links to external websites, software, documentation, or tools are provided for convenience or learning. We do not control third-party services and do not guarantee their continued availability, accuracy, security, or suitability.
12. Intellectual property
Except where otherwise stated, LiveKlass, its course structures, original lessons, recordings, written materials, graphics, and branding are owned by Subera OÜ or used under licence.
Java, Spring, PostgreSQL, Stripe, and other third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. Their mention does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
13. Educational and career disclaimer
Courses are educational products. They do not constitute legal, financial, security, immigration, employment, or other regulated professional advice.
Learning outcomes depend on your starting knowledge, practice, effort, project work, and external circumstances. We do not guarantee employment, interviews, promotions, salary increases, certification results, business outcomes, or admission to any programme.
14. Responsibility and limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer remedies.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, loss caused by your misuse of LiveKlass, loss caused by unauthorized sharing of credentials, or problems arising solely from third-party systems outside our reasonable control.
You are responsible for testing code safely, protecting credentials and data, maintaining backups, and reviewing technical examples before using them in production.
15. Suspension and termination
We may temporarily restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, payment reversal, security risk, account sharing, unlawful conduct, serious or repeated breach of these Terms, or threats to LiveKlass or other users.
Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate action may be taken where delay could create security, legal, payment, or operational harm.
Termination for breach does not automatically create a refund right. Mandatory consumer rights and the Refund and Withdrawal Policy continue to apply.
16. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected and used for accounts, purchases, support, lesson access, progress tracking, communication, security, and operation of LiveKlass.
You should read the Privacy Policy before creating an account or purchasing a course.
17. Support and complaints
Send support or contractual complaints to hello@liveklass.io or through the Contact page. Include enough information for us to identify the account, purchase, and issue, but do not send passwords or full payment-card details.
Consumers should first submit their complaint to us so we can investigate. If an Estonian consumer dispute is not resolved directly, the consumer may be entitled to apply to the Consumer Disputes Committee operating through Estonia's Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority, subject to its procedural rules.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory protections available under the law of your habitual residence. Courts and consumer dispute bodies retain any jurisdiction granted by applicable law.
Business customers agree that disputes not resolved amicably may be submitted to the competent courts of Estonia, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect product, operational, security, vendor, or legal changes. The current version and its update date will be published on this page.
Terms shown when you make a purchase remain relevant to that purchase. Material changes affecting an ongoing paid service will be communicated where required by law.
