1. Scope
This policy applies to paid self-paced courses, video lessons, written Markdown lessons, combined video-and-text lessons, downloadable learning materials, and any live or cohort-based learning product where this policy is referenced.
The product page and checkout may include additional product-specific terms. If those terms conflict with mandatory consumer law, the mandatory law applies.
2. Statutory right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area and purchase online, you will generally have 14 days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw without giving a reason, unless a lawful exception applies.
To exercise this right, send us an unequivocal statement before the withdrawal period expires. You do not need to use a specific form.
3. Immediate access to digital content
Most self-paced courses are supplied immediately after successful payment. Before immediate access begins, checkout may ask you to expressly request supply during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you will lose the statutory withdrawal right once supply of the digital content begins.
The loss of the withdrawal right only applies where all legally required consent, acknowledgement, and confirmation steps have been completed. If they have not been completed correctly, your mandatory rights remain unaffected.
If you withdraw validly, access to the relevant course and materials may be disabled, and you must stop using or sharing the digital content.
4. Live classes, cohorts, and other services
Live classes, mentoring, cohort programmes, and other service-based products may be treated differently from self-paced digital content. If you expressly request performance during the withdrawal period and later withdraw, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already provided where permitted by law.
For services tied to a specific date, period, or limited capacity, a statutory withdrawal exception may apply. Any product-specific cancellation rules will be shown before purchase.
5. Faulty or non-conforming digital content
Your rights relating to digital content or services that are faulty, unavailable, materially different from the description, or otherwise non-conforming are separate from the withdrawal rules.
Please contact us first so we can investigate and, where appropriate, restore access, correct the problem, provide replacement access, reduce the price, or issue a refund as required by applicable law.
6. Discretionary refunds
Where no statutory refund or withdrawal right applies, we may still review a request in good faith. Examples include a duplicate payment, purchase of the wrong course before meaningful access, or a verified platform issue that we cannot resolve within a reasonable time.
A discretionary refund is not guaranteed and is assessed using the purchase date, course access history, downloaded materials, support history, and the circumstances of the request. This section does not reduce any mandatory legal right.
7. Situations normally not eligible for a discretionary refund
A discretionary refund will normally not be approved merely because you changed your mind after beginning substantial course use, did not have enough time to study, expected a job or other result that was never promised, or breached the LiveKlass Terms of Service.
We will not approve requests involving fraud, chargeback abuse, account sharing, copying, redistribution, or other misuse of course content. Mandatory consumer remedies remain unaffected.
8. Refund processing
Where a valid statutory withdrawal requires reimbursement, we will refund the relevant payment without undue delay and no later than the period required by applicable law. Unless otherwise agreed, reimbursement will use the same payment method used for the original transaction and will not carry a refund fee from us.
Approved card refunds are submitted to the payment provider promptly. Your bank or card issuer may need additional time to display the refund. Manual payments may require verification of the original transaction and the recipient account.
9. How to request a withdrawal or refund
Contact us at hello@liveklass.io or through the Contact page. Include your full name, LiveKlass account email, course or product name, purchase date, payment reference, and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw or request a refund.
Do not send full card numbers, passwords, one-time codes, or other sensitive credentials. We may request limited additional information where necessary to verify the payment or account.
10. Payment disputes and chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue. Starting a chargeback does not create an additional refund right and may temporarily restrict access while the payment is disputed.
Nothing in this section prevents you from using a lawful payment dispute, consumer complaint, or alternative dispute-resolution procedure.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when LiveKlass products, payment methods, or legal requirements change. The version shown at the time of purchase will continue to be relevant to that purchase, together with any mandatory rights that apply.
