1. Agreement to these Terms
By creating an account, enrolling in a course, booking a mentoring session, creating or publishing a professional profile, purchasing a product or service, or otherwise using LiveKlass, you agree to these Terms and the policies referenced in them.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use features that require an account, purchase, booking, or other contractual relationship with LiveKlass.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.
2. LiveKlass and its services
LiveKlass is a professional growth platform that may provide structured learning, mentor discovery and booking, professional Identity profiles, identity-verification functionality, and related services.
LiveKlass Learn may provide courses, roadmaps, lessons, exercises, projects, videos, written content, downloads, and other learning experiences.
Find a Mentor may allow users to discover mentors, review their professional information, areas of expertise, availability, session details, and pricing, and where available, book mentoring sessions.
LiveKlass Identity allows users to create and manage professional profiles containing information such as experience, skills, projects, education, credentials, languages, professional links, mentoring information, and other professional details.
Features described on LiveKlass as "Coming soon", including LiveKlass Work where applicable, are not currently available services and do not create a contractual commitment that a particular feature will launch on a particular date or with particular functionality.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating or maintaining an account, making a purchase, or booking a service.
You must be legally capable of entering into the relevant agreement. Where applicable law requires a parent, legal guardian, or other representative to approve your use or purchase, that authorization must be obtained.
You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and authentication methods and for activity carried out through your account. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
Unless LiveKlass expressly provides otherwise for a team, organization, institution, or other multi-user arrangement, an individual account is intended for one person and must not be shared.
4. Learning products
A LiveKlass learning product may include structured roadmaps, video lessons, written Markdown lessons, combined video-and-text content, code examples, exercises, projects, assessments, downloadable resources, references, or other formats described on the relevant page.
Course descriptions, curricula, prerequisites, language, availability, price, and access terms may differ between courses. You should review the applicable course information before enrolling.
Learning content may be updated as technologies, practices, course objectives, or teaching materials change. Updates may include corrections, improvements, reorganization, replacement of lessons, or additional material.
Your access to paid or restricted learning content depends on the access rights associated with your account and enrollment.
5. Mentors and mentoring sessions
Mentor profiles may include professional information, mentoring topics, experience, skills, availability, timezone, session format, pricing, and other details supplied by the mentor or made available through LiveKlass.
Before booking a paid mentoring session, you should review the mentor, session description, date or availability, price, and any other conditions shown during booking.
A mentor is responsible for conducting the session professionally and for the guidance they personally provide. Mentoring is intended to provide guidance, feedback, education, discussion, or professional perspective; it does not guarantee a particular career, employment, educational, technical, or business outcome.
Cancellation, rescheduling, withdrawal, and refund rights for mentoring sessions are subject to applicable law and any terms or policies presented for the relevant booking.
Users must interact respectfully with mentors and other participants. Harassment, threats, discrimination, fraud, inappropriate conduct, or misuse of session or contact information may result in restrictions on LiveKlass access.
6. LiveKlass Identity and public profiles
LiveKlass Identity allows you to create a professional profile and decide which supported information you want to add or publish.
You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide about yourself, your professional history, education, skills, projects, credentials, organizations, links, mentoring activity, and other claims is accurate to the best of your knowledge and does not unlawfully misrepresent another person or organization.
If you make your professional profile public, the information you publish may be available to anyone with access to the profile and may be shared outside LiveKlass.
You must not use a profile to impersonate another person, publish information you have no right to disclose, make deliberately fraudulent professional claims, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, or distribute unlawful or harmful material.
LiveKlass may provide profile visibility controls, but public information may be copied, indexed, cached, or otherwise retained by third parties outside LiveKlass's control.
7. Identity verification
Where identity verification is available, you may be able to verify that you are the person behind your LiveKlass profile using a verification process provided by LiveKlass or a configured verification provider.
You must submit only your own authentic information and must not attempt to manipulate, circumvent, or fraudulently complete a verification process.
A verified identity indicates that the identity-verification process has confirmed the person behind the profile according to the applicable verification method.
Identity verification does not automatically verify every employer, job title, skill, degree, credential, project, client relationship, professional claim, or other information shown on a profile unless LiveKlass expressly indicates that the specific information has been separately verified.
LiveKlass may remove, withhold, or review a verification status if we reasonably believe that verification was obtained fraudulently, no longer corresponds to the account holder, or must be reviewed for security, legal, or integrity reasons.
8. Your content and professional information
You retain ownership of original information and material you submit to LiveKlass, including profile text, project descriptions, questions, assignments, feedback, and other content, subject to third-party rights that may apply.
You grant LiveKlass a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, reproduce, display, format, and transmit your submitted content only as reasonably necessary to operate LiveKlass, provide requested services, display your profile according to your visibility settings, provide support, maintain security, and comply with law.
If you make content public, the licence includes displaying that content to public visitors through the relevant LiveKlass feature.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit the content and that its use as contemplated by LiveKlass does not unlawfully infringe the rights of others.
Do not submit confidential employer information, production credentials, trade secrets, personal data you are not authorized to disclose, or other material that you do not have the right to share.
9. Prices, orders, bookings, and payment
The applicable price, currency, taxes where included or applicable, payment method, and whether a charge is one-time or recurring will be shown before you confirm a purchase or booking.
You are responsible for reviewing the order or booking information before confirming payment.
Payments may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider supported by LiveKlass. The provider may perform authorization, security, and fraud-prevention checks as part of processing the payment.
Access, enrollment, or booking confirmation may depend on successful payment confirmation and any necessary account matching or fraud-prevention checks.
We may correct an obvious pricing or description error before accepting an order. If payment has already been taken for an order that cannot lawfully or reasonably be fulfilled, the applicable amount will be reimbursed.
10. Digital content, withdrawal, cancellation, and refunds
Digital courses and other digital content are generally supplied by granting access through your LiveKlass account.
Where applicable consumer law provides a withdrawal period, starting immediate supply of paid digital content may require your prior express consent and acknowledgement of the effect that immediate supply has on your withdrawal right. LiveKlass will not treat the statutory withdrawal right as lost unless the conditions required by applicable law have been satisfied.
Services such as mentoring sessions may be subject to different withdrawal or cancellation rules depending on when the service is scheduled or performed and the circumstances of the booking.
Your applicable withdrawal rights, cancellation rights, remedies for non-conforming digital content or services, and any additional refund terms are explained in the Refund and Withdrawal Policy and applicable booking or checkout information.
Where withdrawal, termination, or refund lawfully requires access to end, LiveKlass may disable continued access to the affected digital content or service as permitted by law.
11. Licence to use LiveKlass learning materials
When you lawfully obtain access to LiveKlass learning materials, LiveKlass grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to use those materials for your own learning, subject to these Terms.
Purchasing or accessing a course does not transfer ownership of LiveKlass videos, written lessons, course structures, graphics, assessments, downloads, branding, or other protected materials.
You may use code examples in your own learning and projects unless a lesson, source repository, dependency, or accompanying licence specifies different terms.
You may not republish, sell, redistribute, systematically reproduce, or present a LiveKlass course or substantial parts of it as your own course, training product, content library, or competing educational material.
12. Acceptable use
You must not share or sell restricted account access; bypass authorization controls; scrape or systematically copy protected content; interfere with security; introduce malware; perform abusive automated requests; exploit vulnerabilities; or use LiveKlass unlawfully.
You must not impersonate another person, submit fraudulent payment or verification information, abuse refunds or chargebacks, manipulate platform records, or use LiveKlass to infringe another person's intellectual-property, privacy, or other legal rights.
You must not use public profiles, mentor information, contact details, or other LiveKlass data for spam, harassment, unauthorized surveillance, deceptive recruitment, unlawful discrimination, or other abusive purposes.
Reasonable notes, screenshots, or limited extracts for your own private study are permitted where allowed by law and where they do not amount to redistribution of protected LiveKlass content.
13. Progress, achievements, and certificates
Course progress, completion percentages, exercise results, achievements, badges, or certificates depend on the features and completion criteria available for the relevant learning product.
Where LiveKlass issues a certificate or completion record, it confirms only the criteria stated for that learning experience.
A course certificate is not an academic degree, professional licence, employment guarantee, or independent verification of every skill or professional claim unless explicitly stated otherwise.
14. Platform availability and changes
We may update, improve, correct, reorganize, replace, or discontinue platform features or content where reasonably necessary for product development, security, legal compliance, technical maintenance, or operational reasons.
We will not intentionally remove the essential contracted value of an active paid service without an appropriate basis. Mandatory remedies available under applicable consumer law remain unaffected.
Scheduled maintenance, internet failures, security incidents, infrastructure problems, third-party outages, and other technical events may temporarily affect LiveKlass availability.
Information about a planned or "Coming soon" feature does not guarantee its release date, final functionality, availability in every country, or commercial terms.
15. Third-party services and links
LiveKlass may use third-party providers for authentication, identity verification, payments, hosting, storage, email, content delivery, monitoring, analytics when enabled, video delivery, communications, or other functionality.
When you interact directly with a third-party service, that provider's applicable terms and privacy information may also apply.
LiveKlass may link to external websites, software, repositories, documentation, services, or tools for learning or convenience. We do not control third-party services and cannot guarantee their continued availability, security, accuracy, or suitability.
16. LiveKlass intellectual property
Except where otherwise stated, LiveKlass branding, original course structures, lessons, recordings, written materials, graphics, software interfaces, and other original platform materials are owned by Subera OÜ or used under applicable licences.
Third-party trademarks, software, libraries, documentation, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners and are subject to their own licences and terms.
References to Java, Spring, PostgreSQL, Stripe, or other third-party products and brands do not by themselves imply sponsorship, partnership, or endorsement.
17. Learning, mentoring, Identity, and career disclaimer
LiveKlass provides educational, mentoring, professional-profile, and related platform functionality. Unless expressly stated for a particular regulated service, information provided through LiveKlass is not legal, financial, medical, immigration, investment, or other regulated professional advice.
Learning and mentoring outcomes depend on factors such as your previous knowledge, effort, practice, decisions, circumstances, and the nature of the guidance provided.
LiveKlass does not guarantee employment, interviews, clients, freelance projects, promotions, salary increases, admissions, examination results, certifications, or other career or commercial outcomes.
A professional profile helps you present information about yourself but does not constitute a guarantee by LiveKlass of your suitability for a role, project, client, employer, or other opportunity.
18. Suspension and termination
We may temporarily restrict, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, payment reversal, account sharing, verification abuse, security risk, unlawful activity, serious or repeated breach of these Terms, harassment, impersonation, harmful content, or threats to LiveKlass or its users.
Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate action may be taken where delay could create security, legal, payment, safety, integrity, or operational harm.
Termination because of a breach does not automatically create a refund entitlement. Mandatory consumer rights and applicable withdrawal and refund rights remain unaffected.
Where applicable law requires us to make certain user-provided digital content available following termination of a digital service, those mandatory rights remain unaffected.
19. Responsibility and limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer remedies.
To the extent permitted by law, LiveKlass is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, loss resulting from misuse of the platform, unauthorized sharing of credentials, user-provided inaccurate information, or failures caused solely by third-party systems outside our reasonable control.
You are responsible for evaluating professional advice or mentoring guidance before relying on it, protecting your credentials and data, maintaining appropriate backups, and reviewing technical examples before using them in production or other consequential environments.
Nothing in these Terms makes you responsible for losses caused by LiveKlass where applicable law places that responsibility on us.
20. Privacy
The LiveKlass Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed in connection with accounts, learning, professional Identity, public profiles, identity verification, mentoring, bookings, payments, communications, security, and operation of the platform.
You should review the Privacy Policy when creating an account and before submitting personal or professional information to LiveKlass.
21. Support and complaints
Questions, support requests, or contractual complaints may be sent to hello@liveklass.io or through the Contact page. Include enough information for us to identify the relevant account, purchase, booking, profile, or issue, but do not send passwords, authentication codes, or full payment-card details.
If you are a consumer, please contact us first so that we can investigate and attempt to resolve the issue. We will handle consumer complaints in accordance with applicable consumer-protection requirements.
If an eligible Estonian consumer dispute cannot be resolved directly, the consumer may be entitled to apply to the Consumer Disputes Committee operating through Estonia's Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority, subject to the Committee's applicable jurisdiction and procedural rules.
22. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, unless mandatory applicable law requires otherwise.
If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections that apply under the law of your habitual residence.
Courts, consumer dispute bodies, and other competent authorities retain any jurisdiction granted to them by applicable law.
For business customers, disputes that cannot be resolved amicably may be submitted to the competent courts of Estonia unless a separate written agreement provides otherwise.
23. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to LiveKlass products, functionality, legal requirements, security practices, service providers, or operations.
The current version and its last-updated date will be published on this page.
Terms applicable when you make a purchase or booking remain relevant to that transaction. Where changes materially affect an ongoing paid service, additional notice will be provided where required by law.
24. Contact
Subera OÜ operates LiveKlass from Estonia. Questions about these Terms may be sent to hello@liveklass.io or through the Contact page.
